Here’s a cool little site called BetaBitz for getting some beta testers for your new website. I just submitted SiteHoppin.com Firefox Toolbar since we are looking for private beta testers.
It’s a good idea but probably won’t grow without funding and advertising.

Soliciting Beta Testers means that your product needs to be beta tested. The processing of obtaining beta testers, at least until this point, has often been an ad-hoc one typically done by posting notices around the web letting people know you are open for beta and to come on out and try your stuff out.
BetaBitz is meant to solve both problems in a simple manner. By posting your offering on the website, other readers will find out about it and perhaps be compelled to check it out. In addition by adding the ability for those same users to sign up as beta testers right on the site, your offering can take advantage of the interest generated.
