Sarah Palin’s Yahoo Account HACKED!

Sarah Palin’s Yahoo account was hacked the other day by some hackers.   Dozens of e-mail address were posted on WikiLeaks.org.

What’s interesting is not that her account was hacked but the fact that she was using a “hackable” public e-mail service such as Yahoo.  Perhaps, this might be foreshadow of what is to come.

What’s interesting is that she’s not using government e-mail such as palin@alaska.gov, which shouldn’t be too hard with all the staff she has around.

Perhaps Palin is still behind in technology, due to her Idaho upbringing and being a leader of an isolated State Alaska.

Well, I don’t want to piss off any people but yes, this incident should never ever happen especially if you are running for vice president.  Next time, encrypt your e-mails first before sending it with a 256-bit hex key that’d take at least couple days for hackers to figure out.  (Okay, let’s just say that Pail FAILED already.)

“At around midnight last night some members affiliated with the group gained access to governor Palin’s email account, ‘gov.palin@yahoo.com’ and handed over the contents to the government sunshine site Wikileaks.org,” said a message on the site.

Rick Davis, the campaign manager for Sen. John McCain, issued a statement Wednesday afternoon condemning the incident.

“This is a shocking invasion of the Governor’s privacy and a violation of law,” Davis said. “The matter has been turned over to the appropriate authorities and we hope that anyone in possession of these e-mails will destroy them. We will have no further comment.”
